Juno still had soft stools (like a lump) this afternoon. So I had to give her the Kaolin-Pectin. Luckily it wasn’t so difficult to administer it this time. Well, it isn’t as bad as Baycox, Luckily, the Baycox treatment was only for three days and that’s done. In fact, on the second day, there was no coccidia in Juno’s stools anymore.
Now, it’s all about healing the inflamed gut.
I syringe-fed Juno some ID this evening along with some boiled mashed pumpkin. Surprisingly, she likes the pumpkin. I hope this will also help form the stools. The tricky thing about pumpkin is that it works both ways, so we shall take a chance and see if it works.

Juno got to play with her favourite balls again. The amazing thing is that she will take one ball out at a time, play with it, and actually puts it back into the container after playing! Isn’t that sweet?!!

We tried making an e-collar for her using a thin plastic plate, but it only worked for a few minutes. In any case, she doesn’t bite at the sore in the anus area all the time. Also, hasn’t the poor dear got enough of the e-collar while at the vet’s, right?

Taking a rest after a whole afternoon of playing.
We are not out of the woods yet because we still haven’t got well-formed stools, so please get well soon, little one!
