Trying out Nottipet (kibble)

Nottipet is a local brand of kibble: https://nottipetfood.com/

They produce kibble for dogs and cats.

The reason I opted to try it is that the Blondies are so hell-bent on eating kibble. I wanted a variety for them and one that uses quality ingredients.

The Chicken & Lamb is for weight management so that’s for Ginger and the Monsters while the Chicken & Tuna is for everyone else who doesn’t have a weight problem!

Because it’s a new food, I’m mixing a bit with their regular kibble first.

Riley and Juno both liked it.

The pellets are small in size.

Tabs was attracted to the aroma but being CKD, she’s not supposed to eat this high protein kibble, but just so that she won’t feel left out, I gave her just a few pellets with her renal kibble. She too liked it a lot. But just a few pellets, Tabs.

Of course the kibble-queens were so, so excited. They probably smelled it already, for sure.

I mixed it with their regular kibble too. Surprisingly, they ate (of course they would, it’s kibble) but were not particularly crazy about it. I think they left some behind, but then again, which kibble did they leave behind, right? I did not have time to check. Let me try again tomorrow. As it’s their first time on a new food, I cannot give too much of it.

Next, the Chicken & Lamb for Ginger and the Monsters, as an after-dinner snack. I mixed the new Nottipet kibble with their regular kibble again.

As usual, Ginger, Rey, Smurfy, and Lynx went for it. Minnie and Robin almost never go for snacks, or they just don’t like crowding with the rest.

Rey didn’t quite like it. Ginger, Lynx and Smurfy finished off everything. But this is just a snack and it’s mixed with their regular kibble since it’s the first time.

I’ll get a better verdict, say, after a week of trying it out.
