Oops…wrong cat with loose stools?

I just checked and there were loose stools in that exact spot in the sandpit again.

Earlier on, our CCTV did not actually cover that exact spot and I could not really see who went there, only who went toward that direction, but it was near enough.

After the discovery of the first loose stools, we adjusted the camera so that it could point to that spot.

And just now, there were loose stools there again.

I have just scoured through two hours of CCTV footage (fast-forward, of course, to pinpoint the time it happened) and I think I’ve got the wrong cat!

Or rather, this second set of loose stools wasn’t by Smurfy because he did not come out of the big cage at all.

It was either Robin or Ginger but more like Ginger as he definitely spent time doing something at that spot and then he covered it up.

So I gave Ginger steamed pumpkin and Feline Gut Soothe and Robin, just Feline Gut Soothe.

Then, I searched back the footage for the first set of loose stools, and it could have been Robin too!

Oh dear, so maybe it wasn’t Smurfy at all? Well, I certainly hope not, because Smurfy is not easy to handle or to catch.

Ginger and Robin are much, much easier.

Robin

Ginger, with Minnie.

I guess we should know more tomorrow.

The things we do for our pets, right? Installed CCTV just to check their poop!

I hope whoever it is, the probiotics can solve the problem.

I’m going to recheck the CCTV footage again now.

Note: After rechecking again, it’s Ginger for the second round. So Robin got a bonus probiotic dose! But who did the first round? That, I cannot be sure because the camera wasn’t pointing in that exact spot at the time. The mystery remains.
