There were no loose stools or, for that matter, any stools, in the sandpit boxes early this morning at Ginger’s Catio. I got up at 3.50am to check.
Minnie finally ate and quite heartily too. I’m so relieved. Because if ever Minnie falls ill, how am I going to get her treated when I still cannot even touch her? I also saw Minnie eating serai, so perhaps she was having some stomach discomfort last night, which hopefully, has resolved now. She is active and her usual self. But yesterday evening, she was sleeping for many, many hours. Hope whatever discomfort she has is over now.
I offered her raw rabbit. Somehow, my experience with Indy has convinced me that raw rabbit is one of my go-to home remedies for stomach upset, that is, if they are willing to eat.
Ginger had solid stools last night. Hooray for that! This morning, I gave him his last Promax and that would be all. This morning, Ginger only wanted renal kibble and that is what he got.
No stools yet from Smurfy. But he appears to be fine. He also only wanted renal kibble, so fine. It was so much easier than I had anticipated feeding Smurfy the Promax. I could not syringe it up, so I used my finger and Smurfy did not object at all. I remember how difficult it used to be to catch Smurfy and even more difficult to give him his deworming pill every three months. That was a task I feared.
Juno had a meal of Fur/Ball Salmon. Clearly, she prefers the chicken. Firm stools from Juno this morning. Hooray!
Are all the diarrhoea episodes finally over and can I take a rest before anything else happens?
