Juno’s all good now.
She has firm, solid stools and only about 2-3 times daily, which is normal for a kitten.
The nightmare is finally over and please, we can all do without another one.
Since her rescue on 2nd September 2024, Juno has had a collapsed lung, suspected mycoplasma infection and coccidia infection which landed her hospitalised with severe diarrhoea. Her immunity probably isn’t as strong as other kittens, the vet suspects it is due to some congenital issue, but she’s been tested FIV/FeLV negative twice.
Looks like Juno just needs more care, which we will certainly give her.
Juno’s had had two vaccinations already and is periodically dewormed. She is currently on a rojak diet of Cubgrub (raw), cooked food (Fur/Ball) and kibble. I’m only giving Cubgrub so that we can more easily monitor the effect of raw food on her. In fact, it was after I restarted her on raw food that her stools began to improve. But I don’t give it for every meal.
