I am going home on Tuesday!!!!

My CRP came down to a pleasantly-surprising 63 this morning!!

So this new IV antibiotic is doing its job, Tazocin. It’s only available in IV form and there is no exact oral equivalent for it. There are two close ones, but they do not cover the entire spectrum that Tazocin covers. Close, but not close enough to replace it at this point in time. After 3 days, maybe.

So the specialist’s advice is to complete the 3 full day course of Tazocin, which will end on Tuesday morning.

I’ve already gone so far, I might as well go all the way and ensure I’m fully well when I return home.

More news later, but I’m coming home!!!

I have to keep this really, really clean until Tuesday morning.
