Change is good.
Change is necessary.
I’m trying out a new feeding protocol now.
It starts with Tabs and Juno in the kitchen. Both get VIP treatment because Tabs is under palliative care and Juno is still a kitten. Today, both wanted cooked food.
Gerald already got his breakfast in the porch. Actually, he is the first because I got to keep him quiet.
Next is the Blondies. This is the most challenging. So it starts with a raw food buffet – choose whatever you want. Only Samantha came to eat. The rest sniffed and walked off.
If that doesn’t achieve its target, try cooked food. The two ginger Blondies are sharing a plate now. This leaves Akira, the kibble princess. Tunggu, ya…..
Next is the Monsters.
Whatever the Blondies did not eat goes to the Monsters as their buffet and some…
Just add on more plates. Ginger gets a special plate of cooked food.
Take your time.
If they fail to finish, out come the toppers.
Today’s toppers are…
Primal Freeeze-Dried (raw food)!! Everyone’s favourite.
And Cubgrub’s dehydrated Shishamo treats. Macam dari restoran Jepun.
I have other toppers too.
This whole process takes about 45 minutes. But if I give only kibble, I’ll bet it will only take at most 10 minutes flat. But then again, I keep kibble as a snack.
Then, finally, for whoever hasn’t eaten (namely, Akira), she gets a plate of kibble, but later. If you are so fussy, you wait. Riley is force fed raw food, and later, she munches on kibble all day long, goat-style.
If anyone else yearns for kibble, they get it as a snack at mid-morning or lunch time.
Come dinner in the evening, repeat the entire breakfast process.
