The article says Malaysia has so many festivals (so true), so it’s important that people must know how harmful fireworks are to the animals. Exactly what we have been trying to do.

Unfortunately, a quick check with friends revealed that many people either did not see the huge billboards or they saw but it didn’t strike a chord in their hearts or brains.
Meanwhile, many neighbourhoods have been turned into “war zones” with the ear-splitting firecrackers and thunderous fireworks being blasted away.
A friend’s cat has run away from home too.
