The second review of PledgeCare products (meat toppers, freeze-dried cod, air-dried fish)

This is my second review of the PledgeCare products. Our cats weren’t exactly interested in the two Meat Toppers, so I decided to try again this morning. I topped the Blondies’ buffet breakfast of wet food with the Fish Topper and as usual, left the food in four bowls for them. Being the most fussy cats we have and being junkies who decided they prefer kibble, whatever I leave in there will never get finished. If I’m very, very lucky, two bowls will be eaten. Normally, only one and it’s by Samantha. It’s common to have none eaten as well. Then, I’d just to have give everything to the Monsters and eventually relent and give the Blondies kibble.

So I laid out four bowls of wet food today and I topped each one with PledgeCare’s Fish Topper. Nobody came to eat and I just left the bowls there.

Later, as I was about to collect the bowls to pass over to the Monsters…

Hah!! Who ate up everything? This has never happened before. Sapu habis!! I did not see who ate what, so I checked the CCTV. Unfortunately…

The angle of the camera did not capture that spot. It’s blocked by the table. But after viewing the playback several times, I am positive the ones who ate were Samantha, Indra and Kai. Akira went there too, but I cannot be absolutely sure if she ate. Next time, I place the bowls in a spot which can be captured by the CCTV!

The things we do because of our cats, right? I installed many new CCTVs just to monitor the cats’ goings-on and their litter boxes and sandpits. Remember when Indra swallowed the string, it was the CCTV that saved her life, really. Otherwise, I would not have known who swallowed the string.

Anyway, back the the cat food now…

The Fish Topper was really useful to get Robin to eat up his urinary food. I’ll alternate this with the Chicken Topper and the other air-dried treats.

I decided to try the Cod Cubes again. It was the least popular yesterday, but today, hmm…they seemed to be more okay with it. Sometimes, some food just needs a little time for them to be liked and accepted!

There are still some remnants, though. With the other food, it’s all sapu habis.

Riley really likes this Air-Dried Fish. So does Indra. Some pieces are bigger flakes and I think it can be chewy enough to be a dental treat of sorts.
