Today is Day 4 for Juno’s post-op, but it is actually only about 78 hours after her surgery.
I have been giving her more off-collar time to groom herself as I can see she’s quite miserable wearing the collar.
I use this stick toy just to keep her occupied so that she won’t groom too excessively.
I asked my vet-friend and she says it is okay to take the e-collar off as long as Juno doesn’t lick at the surgical site. Well, I cannot be 100% sure that she will not lick there unless I keep my eyes on her all the time, so when I cannot monitor her, the e-collar goes back on.
