Making homemade cat food for Ginger and the “elders”

The last time I made homemade cat food, only Ginger was interested. But that was also good enough because the cat food was suited for Ginger with lots of soup in it. Tabs did not like it at that time.

So after the batch finished, I decided to take a break…until today.

I made another batch today.

Today’s is made with chicken thighs, chicken breast meat, carrot, pumpkin, broccoli, a bit of spirulina powder, eggshell powder with taurine and Vitamin E. Absolutely no salt.

There is a lot of soup in each portion and I’m glad Ginger loves it! The greenish colour is because of the little bit of spirulina powder (it’s dark green).

Happier still that this time, Rey and Minnie ate it too!

Lynx, Robin and Smurfy weren’t interested.

Happiness! Tabs is eating it this time!! She needs the extra soup too.

Not surprising at all that the Blondies didn’t want any of it. They are still young, still junkies at this age.

Maybe when they are older, they will eat it? It’s just like we humans, when we get older, we naturally eat more healthily.
