Happy animals in the neighbourhood

I was talking a walk this morning in the neighbourhood as I do almost every morning and took these photos.

Here is someone’s cat sleeping peacefully on someone’s car parked by the roadside. As long as neighbours are tolerant, there will be peace. This cat is wearing a collar.

I do want to let Gerald wear a collar, but in my stretch of the road, I’m afraid that would backfire. I would be accused of being an “irresponsible” pet owner for letting my pet roam freely. The cat-unfriendly neighbour already told me right to the face that they do not mind people keeping pets, just don’t ever let the pet out of the house.

More about Gerald later.

There are always a lot of baby birds along this stretch of the road. I’m glad they survived the CNY fireworks.

Someone’s bengal cat. There used to be two of them. Now, there’s only one left.

As I reached out house…

Creamy was waiting for me!

Creamy has a nice green collar now. His owner put it on him a few days ago and Creamy (aka Abu) is so proud of it!

This is what Creamy wants to eat when he comes to our house.

After eating, he will go home through his usual route.

Bye, Creamy! See you again this evening!
