I read from a reliable source that chicken gizzards have a higher amount of phosphorus than chicken breast meat, so I’m trying to train Creamy to eat less gizzards and more chicken breast meat, but…
Creamy says, “I only come for raw gizzards.”
He was not happy with today’s breakfast.
Today, he even wandered off down the road. Creamy has a very good sense of direction, though. I’ve seen him quite far away from his home and yet, he manages to get back home. Amazing navigation system he’s got in there.
For new readers: Creamy is the back neighbour’s cat, not ours. But he comes daily for raw food and I get him treated when he has any medical issues. I got him neutered and vaccinated too.
Gerald is easier to train to rely less than gizzards although both of them absolutely love it!
Inside, the Monsters do eat gizzards occasionally. I read that because of its chewy texture, it’s good for cleaning their teeth. But the girls refuse to eat any of it.
We have 13 cats inside with 5 boys and 8 girls. This is the first time the girls have outnumbered the boys!
