Of fireworks (again), Gerald and Creamy

Last night, Gerald suddenly made a lot of noise and wanted to come into the house.

Of course I let him in.

Shortly after that, we were shocked by the sounds of booming fireworks at the park across our house. It’s the type that sounds like machine guns. Or, more like bombs.

Well, this government legalised fireworks in January 2023, so what do you expect, right?

We had to pause our TV programme because we could not hear a thing even with increased volume. I was so relieved that Gerald had asked to come in. At least I know he is safe.

Closer to midnight, the booming bombing fireworks were heard again. This time, from further away, but enough to cause heart palpitations.

This morning, Gerald couldn’t wait to get back out.

He made a lot of noise when I came downstairs and rushed out of the room, even refused to eat. Getting out is more important than breakfast?

Akira rushed out with him.

But the moment we opened the front door, Creamy was already here, so Gerald made a u-turn back into the house. Something is always happening between these two, and I think it’s mostly caused by drama-king Gerald.

Creamy has been coming to our porch a lot these days. Perhaps his family has gone on a holiday again. That is usually the case.

So I put Gerald back in Bunny’s Room and he finally ate some food.

Eating Cubgrub.

After Creamy had finished his breakfast and gone off, I released Gerald.

Be safe, Gerald.

Will there be more fireworks tonight?

Madani government, this is on you.
