What’s going on, Blondies?

Indra has stopped bullying Juno now (I did not expect that one encounter/teaching from Rey would work so well, but looks like it did…for now). Kai has stopped showering urine from atop the door after we closed the door for two days. Again, live for the moment, we don’t know when they will both revert to their bad habits.

Instead, poor Juno is being bullied by once-thought-to-be-gentle Akira. We have told Akira off a few times now. If she still bullies, perhaps Rey would be a better teacher?

Every now and then, we would have a Spider-Cat. Kai holds this title now. But so does Rey from across the Stargate.

Juno likes to use the counter top as her toilet. I think it’s because it’s always so clean.

Oh well…

I’m not that type of strict disciplinarian who forces cats or any animal for that matter to do what we humans want. I’ll do the best I can and if I fail, well, I fail. Animals have a mind of their own too and they have their own reasons for doing what they do.

The counter top is very easy to clean. And Juno produces really nice faeces these days. Gone are the days when she easily had loose stools. Perhaps she has grown out of that problem now. She is no longer on Pro-Fibre and does not need daily probiotics now. But I will resume her daily probiotics as that’s good for her gut.

We all need probiotics, don’t we? I know I do.

There are prebiotics (food for the healthy microorganisms), probiotics (the healthy microorganisms) and postbiotics (the compounds produced by the microorganisms after metabolising the prebiotics). Aren’t we humans kiasu? We now want to do the work for the healthy microorganisms. How much of Nature do we think we can take over?
