Smart Kelly!

We drove down to the guardhouse on our way out to buy things and guess who came walking towards us when she heard our car?

It’s amazing!

It was Kelly!!

I did not expect her to remember me at all, or, I actually thought she won’t like me, because I took her to the vet’s for the “procedure” which was definitely not comfortable, and I caged her in an unfamiliar surrounding where she had to hold back her urine, etc. I also force fed her, which no cat would have liked.

How could she possibly like me?

And she wouldn’t have known that I’d been bringing her yummy canned food and quality kibble too, because I don’t feed her. I let the guard feed her.

But she came towards us, not once but twice. She came towards us when we returned too.

What a sweet little cat!

How much do animals know?

They know, right?

There was a thunderstorm last night so I was a little worried about Kelly despite the guard reassuring me that when it rains, she will take shelter at the VIP’s house. So I checked on her incision this morning and it’s all nice and dry. The guard has been checking daily too.

And Kelly is smart, she loves Back2Nature canned food! This is a complete food by FEDIAF standards. What a clever girl. None of our cats like B2N except Tabs and Ginger is willing to eat some too. They want Cindy’s Original with Broth, which is a complementary food, but the advantage of this brand is that there is no added salt at all. Some brands have added salt and it’s not listed in the ingredients list.

So, I’ll be buying a few flavours of B2N canned food for Kelly and will monitor her preference after that. Besides this, she also has Monge kibble. Let’s hope she will grow healthier by the day.

She is such an adorable cat, and is grateful too.
