Poor Juno was trapped last night!

Poor Juno was trapped in the storeroom last night and we didn’t realise it until this morning.

But both Riley and Tabs did not come upstairs at all. We were just too tired to realise that something was amiss.

It was only this morning that husband saw Riley and Tabs sitting in the dining area, in front of the storeroom. Just sitting there. Then, sounds of mewing was heard from the storeroom – it was Juno!

Poor Juno!

She quickly rushed out, and did several zoomies, then rushed to drink water. And quickly did a long pee and went to poop in the litter box too.

Poor, poor Juno. She must have held back her pee and poop all night. So you see, if a cat is not comfortable in a certain place, they will hold back their pee and poop and it’s very, very uncomfortable and dangerous for them. A senior vet used to tell me not to worry, that cats and dogs will pee and poop anywhere if they need to. Not true, not true. This vet is seldom wrong about anything, but looks like he was wrong about this!

This is precisely why I monitored Kelly closely and sent her back to the guardhouse just to urinate.

And she ate, and all was well after that.

We will make it a habit to check the storeroom every night now, before we go up to bed!
