Together with Tabs, Ginger is also our super senior now. I don’t know who is older, but from the vet’s estimate and Ginger’s previous feeder’s information (when he was a playground cat), both were born in early 2011. They are both, therefore, 14-15 years old this year.
Ginger came on his own to sit inside our cage at the catio (before we even built Stargate2) when he had a paw injury inflicted by Mr Quack, the feline terrorist on our street shortly after we moved in. Luckily he did, because when I took him to the vet for treatment, it was just in the nick of time. The wound was about to turn gangrenous. From then on, his mother, Daffodil and sister, Rosie, also came.
And the rest, as they say, is history!
Here’s an old photo when Ginger was undergoing treatment:

Now, only Ginger is left. But he has the Monsters as his family and they absolutely adore their Uncle Ginger!
