Lately, Socks has returned from way down the road to intimidate Gerald again.
I know when Socks is here because Gerald will let out a low continous meow which sort of says, “An intruder is here, help me, help me!”
This is Socks. He’s the pengacau from outside our neighbourhood. He’s very well fed, but not neutered. I cannot get close to him, though.
Gerald gets very upset when anyone intimidates him (this means, anyone at all).
I couldn’t get him to finish his breakfast because of Socks.
Later, Gerald came back meowing, and I had to give him a different kind of food which will not remind him of the intimidation by Socks. I gave him kibble and he finished it.
Gerald is a very scaredy cat. I guess it’s very hard to change someone’s personality. He is who he is.
Catching up with breakfast. But it can only be kibble now because wet food will remind him of his “trauma” this morning.
