Kelly eats the no-salt Fur/Ball!

As promised, I went down to the guardhouse today to see if Kelly might like the new no-salt Fur/Ball. I half expected her to reject it because not all our cats eat it too. Riley doesn’t.

But I was pleasantly surprised and delighted!

I brought along a can of Cindy’s just in case she didn’t like the Fur/Ball but she did! The guard was very interested with all the food I bring, but they don’t have a fridge and Kelly cannot finish an entire can or pack.

She loves it! And ended up eating half the pack, which is 42.5g and this is after her early-morning breakfast. Now at least I know I can give her Fur/Ball for variety too.

Always give the best to street animals as they don’t have the benefit of a home or someone monitoring their health all the time. This is why for our food aid, we buy super premium pet food. We don’t give scraps, leftovers or near-expiry food.

As always, a send-off by sweet little Kelly.

This is her scratching post. Cats just love routine, don’t they? Well, so do I!

Further up the road, Gerald was waiting for me.

This time, Kelly followed me all the way up to the junction, a bit farther than usual. So I went back, carried her back to her familar area at the guardhouse. This time, she didn’t follow me up anymore. Stay safe there, Kelly. I also only walk down after all the peak hour traffic has cleared.

Here comes Gerald! Gerald also has his own boundaries. He doesn’t wander far, unlike Creamy. Creamy goes all over!

I carried Gerald back to our porch.
