Now, Creamy is back to chasing and bullying Gerald.
This is an ongoing feud that has no end in sight, but luckily I managed to get both to eat together this morning.
After eating, Creamy stayed behind in the porch while Gerald disappeared. It was only after Creamy went home that Gerald came back.
I’m also thankful that the next-door neighbour doesn’t mind Gerald resting and sleeping in their porch. We used to be surrounded by cat-hating neighbours, but now, on one side, the couple is kind enough to let Gerald be in their porch even though the wife is afraid of all furry creatures and the back neighbour is Creamy and Smokey’s owner, so I guess they are okay now. This leaves only one side.
This is an imperfect world. We just have to live with it. Some people will never change – they will never like animals.
But we also will never change – we love animals and think they have every right to live on this earth!
