The guard said he had just fed Kelly, so she wasn’t really very hungry today, but she still ate some. Either she’s not very hungry or she prefers tuna, I’m not sure!
Kelly loves to send me off every time. I wish she wouldn’t, but she likes to do it. So I have to send her back and forth until she stays put.
This video below is yesterday’s makan siang, sent by the guard yesterday. He says she sometimes eat inside the guardpost, which is good.
I’ll be feeding Kelly for the next two days when this guard goes on his monthly days off. In the past, he will leave instructions for another guard on another road to feed Kelly, but he says it’s “safer” if I fed her instead of relying on that other guard. Not every single guard will do it; we cannot expect everyone to care for animals, that’s just the way it is. It’s good enough that they don’t harm them. That is really good enough, as the Dalai Lama XIV says: Our prime purpose in this life is to help others. And if you can’t help them, at least don’t hurt them. That is all we ask for, isn’t it? And yet…
