The guard is back on duty today.
Time to replenish Kelly’s kibble supply.
Today’s morning treat is Fur/Ball’s Salmon. Like all of cats, I think Kelly prefers the chicken flavour too. But at least she doesn’t walk away from it like our fussy cats do. She ate half a pack. The guard says she had also just eaten her kibble breakfast. I’m glad she doesn’t demand for wet food from the guard. She knows the guard only has kibble and I will bring the wet food. Smart and good girl, Kelly.
How I wish that our fussy and demanding cats will eat wet food as heartily as Kelly! I’m referring to, in order of fussiness, Akira, Riley and to a much lesser degree, little Juno and Indra. Yes, all girls. Fussy like crazy! At the top of the list is Riley. She is so, so good in other ways, but so fussy with food. I have managed to get everyone to eat soaked kibble except Riley.
We had to do the up-and-down the road routine for awhile before she settled down and let me go home. She just loves to play, being a young cat.
And the big dog walked past (with owner) this morning. I had to restrain Kelly from chasing the dog! Luckily this guard is very vigilant and he takes good care of Kelly.
