Smokey was super hungry again this morning.
She went straight for her plate, Gerald was deciding if he should be scared and Creamy was going after Gerald to intimidate him.
Amidst the escalating drama, Smokey threw caution to the wind and ate to her heart’s content! Smart girl, eh?
I stopped Creamy in his tracks so that Gerald could eat.
Finally, when I checked, all the food was eaten. The only problem is, I don’t know who ate what, but Smokey was the last cat (still) eating. Creamy and Gerald had already gone off.
Over inside the house, something great happened…
Akira ate wet food!!!
So while Kelly and our porch cats (now comprising Gerald, Creamy and Smokey) happily eat wet food, the Blondies still prefer kibble. Sigh…
For new readers, Smokey and Creamy are the back neighbour’s pet cats. Gerald is a community cat. I got Creamy and Gerald neutered in Dec 2022. At that time, I did not know if Creamy had a home. Both of them were trying to mate with Samantha at our park, so I grabbed both of them and sent them for neutering immediately.
