Trimming the nails of Juno and the Blondies, and a small canvas bag!

I did not know how strong Juno and the Blondies have become lately!

I think each one of them is stronger than me.

Today was nail-trimming day!

I managed to do Juno’s front paws, but with so much struggle. She’s way too strong for me now.

She’s more than 3.23kg because three of her forepaws are not on the scale. In any case, please explain to me why a 3kg+ cat is stronger than a 48kg human? And the cat doesn’t even work out at the gym with weights.

Indra was the runt of the litter. She’s 4.84kg (the tail is not on the scale) now. But I think she ended up being the biggest because I hand-raised her. Samantha wasn’t interested in feeding her. She was completely partial towards her first-born, Kai.

Akira, well, she’s the middle child and we all know about the middle child syndrome, don’t we?

It was impossible to trim Indra’s nails, she was biting me, hard. So I had to quickly improvise using this small canvas bag as a head cover.

Cover violent cat’s head with the bag and proceed to trim violent cat’s nails. Was it any easier? Oh well, at least I got the job done, but no, it was just as difficult. Indra even improvised her own trick and put her paw into the bag! How smart is that?

Done!

Up next…

Kai and Akira are up next. Oh, some progress with Samantha – she lets me touch her and I can stroke her multiple times now, but she is still unpredictable. So, it all depends on her mood or the alignment for the planets.

Head-in-bag for Akira too. Super strong! But, done!

Kai, you’re up next!

No, not even Samantha can protect you.

Kai was just as difficult and yes, I had to use the canvas bag as well, but done! She was very angry with me.

But her anger didn’t last, luckily!

Friends? Yes, still friends. Phew!

What a workout for the arms – trying to trim the nails of four cats! I’ll do Riley and Tabs on another day. Got to muscle up first.
