About once in one or two months, we our grass needs cutting, so our gardeners come with their lawn mowers and equipment….and noise!
That’s when everyone takes cover and hide!! Riley was the very first to make her escape – the moment the doorbell rang, she had already scurried upstairs. She knows who rings the doorbell? Of course she does!
So, where is everyone now?
The three brothers, Robin, Rey and Lynx, have gone into the big condo cage. The doors are always permanently open because the two condo cages are more of a sanctuary and hideout for them to have easy access to.
Smurfy and Minnie are on the top platforms. Minnie is a cool cucumber, unafraid of anything.
Ginger, another cool cucumber, is inside the house.
Tabs is so cool, she’s at her usual place, atop the piano.
Juno is not so cool, she’s inside the bathroom. Juno loves bathrooms. Maybe it’s cooling?
Kai is so, so afraid that she’s gone into the cupboard. We don’t know how she got in because the latch was intact. Maybe she just pushed open a small gap too get in, but this is the “2nd floor” of the cupboard. How she got so high up without opening the latch remains a mystery.
Indra seems brave enough not to hide.
Another cool cucumber, Samantha. “What’s there to be afraid of? I’ve seen the world in all my travels when I was a street cat.”
We could not find Akira at all and later, realised there was a bump under the tarpaulin sheet on the bed. Yes, that’s Akira. How she got under the tarpaulin sheet is also a mystery.
It’s her.
All accounted for except Riley who already fled upstairs the moment she heard the doorbell. I went upstairs and searched everywhere but could not find her. She wasn’t in Bunny’s Place either.
Finally…
I found her under the sofa.
All accounted for!!
