Now, Gerald is scared of Smokey.
I have not seen Smokey posturing at Gerald as Creamy does. Actually, Smokey is totally harmless, but Gerald being Gerald, now he has decided he is scared of Smokey.
So this morning, Gerald was too scared to eat his food with Smokey being present. He kept mewing at the front door after I served both of them. So while Smokey ate her food heartily, I had to bring Gerald inside, which he wanted.
Then I put him in Bunny’s Place with his family, but even in there, he didn’t want to eat.
I understand. Gerald is very sensitive to environmental changes. He has to eat at the front door in the porch. He just “cannot” eat anywhere else. So he was mewing nonstop in Bunny’s Place as well.
After Smokey left for home, I had to release him back to the front porch and offer his food again.
Luckily he ate some this time.
So, all of this had to be done just to get him to eat because he has decided he’s scared of Smokey now.
The vibes are not right, eh, Gerald? He has to eat right outside our front door in the porch. That’s his eating spot.
So, a change of environment can sometimes be very disturbing to certain cats. The next story talks about this too…
