It’s been quite challenging finding the “food of the day” for Robin. He’s a total fusspot.
The food you cannot go wrong with him is RC Dental kibble, but we only use that as a dental snack, not as the main meal.
So it came as a total surprise that he actually liked Fur/Ball’s Lamb.
Makes little sense to me that a cat would like to eat lamb, but Robin does. He doesn’t like the chicken or salmon flavours, he only likes the lamb.
Well, as long as he eats.
I’m not going to give it to him daily, though. Because he will get bored of it very quickly. I know his style.
He used to eat only raw cut chicken for months at one time. That’s all he ever wanted. I was worried about not having any protein rotation at that time. Well, at least he will have some protein rotation now.
I was actually hoping I wouldn’t have to purchase lamb or beef for our cats, but it looks like I may have to, since we have so many cats, and fusspots like Robin will want a different protein. For example, Juno also likes beef occasionally. Again, it makes little sense to me that a cat would like beef, but she does…occasionally. Juno is also quite a fusspot.
