Whoa…how did Minnie do it??

This morning, I was teaching online in Bunny’s Room when suddenly a grey coloured cat jumped onto my desk!!

Took me a split second to compute that we do not have any grey cat in Bunny’s Place!!

It was Minnie!!

Now, how did Minnie get into Bunny’s Place????

Then, I quickly had it figured out.

It must have been through the downstairs bathroom.

Now that she has a free reign on the whole house, she must have explored and realised that the downstairs bathroom windows “lead somewhere outside”. So she squeezed through (yes, they weren’t wide open at all) and landed up in…..

…the lions’ den!!

Bunny’s Place.

Surprisingly, no one attacked her. Cow, Bunny and Indy left her alone and let her explore the whole length and breadth of Bunny’s Place.

It was only Cleo (yes, Queen Cleo Patra) who came head-on to confront her later on.

I was really worried a fight would ensue and I would have to cart some cats to the vet’s. But thankfully, all was well.

But then again, even if there had been a fight, I think Minnie might have won. Given her motherly instinct at this point in time, she is one FIERCE mama-cat!!

But no thanks, I have enough on my hands and would not want to find out!

Now, escaping from the downstairs bathroom is not so worrying as it would only lead to the lions’ then which is escape-proof (yes, even for Minnie as it’s been fortified a few times to make it Indy- and Pole-proof during the early days). The only danger is, Minnie gets attacked by Cow, Bunny or Indy or vice-versa and we end up carting a few cats to the vet’s.

However, the upstairs back bathroom – now, that leads to the roof and IS an escape route. That would either have to be netted up OR we have to ensure Minnie and Smurfy and the kittens (later) never enter that bathroom.

That’s it. I’m going to call the mosquito netting guy already.  I did call him during the MCO, but he did not come.
