I’ve been having trouble getting Smurfy to eat because he is too busy playing. As for Minnie, it’s also a problem, but she is in heat, so that explains it. No interest in eating….for both.
Today, I managed to give them both B-Complex with the hope that it might give them an appetite.
Meanwhile, except for Rey, all the kittens are eating raw food on their own. Rey still needs to be baby-fed.

While Rey is still a baby at eating, he’s no baby when it comes to climbing. Rey is a born climber. He’s a Spider-Cat 2.0 in the making. Here, in the photo above, he’s climbed up to the roof of the cage and is going into the tunnels.

Ginger had a run-in with the kittens and the adults today. Ginger tried to steal their plate of food, the kittens hissed at him, and Ginger retaliated by lunging at them (Lynx was at the forefront). This made Minnie come to the kittens’ rescue and a big fight almost ensued. We managed to break it up.

I finally managed to get Smurfy to eat…it’s so difficult to get him to eat as he would rather play. But Smurfy did gain weight, so it’s still okay. It’s Minnie who really has to eat more. I’m supposed to put her on duck (a single protein), and Lin Li of Cubgrub so kindly and thoughtfully brought a few bottles of duck over yesterday. However, Minnie refuses to eat it. She wants her old food, that is, if she would even eat. Now, I have to try quail.
I hope Minnie’s lack of interest in eating is due to her being in heat. Hopefully, she will be interested in food once the “heat” is over.

The kittens play. Robin is pretty good at this game. Rey isn’t.

Rio is a jungle explorer. No urban games for him. He wants to explore the “pristine” jungle.

There are two kittens in this photo. Can you see them? Smurfy is busy looking after everyone.
While Rio, Rey and Lynx have explored and surveyed and length and breadth of the patio, Robin is quite content with playing with the urban toy in a safe place. He’s a scaredy cat, always playing it safe.

This is Robin.

Taking a water break.

Ginger: Hmmmph….I got hissed at. I’m going to file for damages.

Tabs decided to play it safe and asked to be let into Bunny’s Place. She’s not going to mess with Minnie and her kittens – they are too dangerous for her.

Robin discovered the blue basket in the cage and decides to take a nap. He’s always looking for a good and safe place to….sleep.

This is Rey (I think) with Minnie.

Getting Minnie and Smurfy to eat at bit, in between. Please eat, you two.

Lynx goes into the blue basket to play and Robin continues napping.
Tabs finally came out, but had a run-in with Rey this time. All Tabs did was to come out and Rey confronted and hissed at her. Tabs hissed back, but Minnie came and yes, we had to stop another possible fight. Poor Tabs, she is no match for Minnie. And Rey.
Tabs is too mild-mannered to deal with the likes of Minnie and her kittens!
