CNRM and TNRM in Subang Jaya

Ref: http://animalcare.my/2011/05/calling-any-subang-jaya-resident-who-is.html

Introducing the CNRM/TNRM concept to a small group of Subang Jaya residents this morning.
We will provide the funds and the clinics, but we need Subang Jaya residents to help to make this project successful.
Anyone in Subang Jaya interested to do it for your street?
Please contact me.
CNRM is slower because it involves feeding and making friends before catching the animals.
TNRM uses traps, and I’m told you could borrow the traps from MPSJ.  They have cat traps that are similar to the workings of rat traps, just larger.  It works in a humane way, minimising the risk of injury to the cat UNLESS the cat’s tail gets trapped when the door shuts, but apparently the cage is quite big.  The best is still to monitor closeby when the trap is set.  That is what my friend did, in Singapore.  Then, in case there is any unintentional injury, the cat can be attended to immediately.

hi, i would like to help putra heights dogs..but i hate to deal with mpsj..hoping to meet other putra heights residents who is interested in this CNRM…and also someone to foster the poor dogs..

  2. Get a vet in Putra Heights who is willing to offer a discounted rate for strays and write to me, please. You can use our vets, but it may be too far and inconvenient for you.

Yes. The quicker the better for our strays. I hope there would be volunteers to help catch strays as it would be more fruitful.

I believe there are tons of people who may be keen to participate in CNRM but are simply scared to deal with strays in the fear of being attacked.

Not everyone can take the pains of going thru the process of CNRM, like the rescuers, the sacrificing lot.
