An update on Rey (large urine output)

There was vomit again last night. It could only be from Rey, I suspect. Rey also lost his appetite totally last night.

So I quickly contacted the vet and asked if it could be due to the Cystaid Plus or the Clavamox. The vet said to continue with the Clavamox but stop the Cystaid Plus first.

I also asked if I could give Rey Mirtazapine, and the vet said it was okay to do so. So Rey was given Mirtazapine last night, but right after that, he had already started eating, not his regular food, but Primal (something different from his regular food).

This morning, there were no traces of any vomit. Rey ate his breakfast but to play it safe, I gave him something different from his normal food. This is applying the same principle that perhaps he wasn’t feeling so well earlier on and he associated that feeling with the food.

I gave Rey Cubgrub chicken and slices of chicken meat.

We must always keep some “secret food” to be used in emergencies like this!

His right eye hasn’t fully recovered yet. It sure is persistent.

The vet advised that I should start Rey back on Cystaid Plus. Yesterday I scooped a big ball of urine and again, this morning. It must be Rey’s.
