The super seniors at Bunny’s Place

Everyone is fine at Bunny’s Place, as fine as can be expected of super seniors, that is.

Bunny does occasionally vomit his breakfast out these days, but apart from this, his defecation is as good as we hope it to be. Bunny is on homecooked and canned food. He cannot seem to eat raw food except for chicken breast meat. He is still on Cisapride and Lactulose (both twice daily) and Maximus Ophtal for his eyes. Subcut at 230ml, three times a week. Bunny is FIV+, 16 years old.

Cow is the only one who can still eat raw food as his staple diet. But because everyone gets canned or homecooked, he gets it too. Cow gets Advocate spot-on every 4 weeks and there has been no seizures thus far (fingers crossed). I never knew flea bites could lower the seizure threshold in cats. So the first line of treatment is to try a spot-on. Cow is also on Vetri DMG daily, as an immune booster. Cow is FIV+, 16 years old.

Cleo also prefers canned or cooked food, but she can actually eat raw. She’s just being very choosy. Cleo is on Renal-N and Amlodipine (for border-line high blood pressure). She is on subcut, 200ml, three times a week. Cleo is 15 years old and is the actual queen in Bunny’s Place.

What is Ginger doing here? He’s irritating Indy.

Indy is only on Cindy’s pureed food in the morning (to avoid his after-breakfast vomiting). After that, he eats anything. Indy is not on any supplements at all. But occasionally, I do give him Gentle Digest (a probiotic) as he has GI issues. Indy is 14 years old.
