The clinic was very busy and short-handed, so I figured it’s best to bring Creamy and Gerald home.
In fact, Creamy’s wound looks almost all healed too. But I will be keeping both indoors until it’s safe to release them. When I checked, the vet assistant said Creamy had not urinated. So I was quite concerned about this, but the vet checked and his bladder is small. Perhaps Creamy was too frightened at the clinic.
Gerald and Creamy have been neutered, dewormed, vaccinated, deflead with Advocate spot-on and both tested negative for FIV/FeLV.
As we reached home, on hand to greet them was…Samantha! She must have heard Gerald mewing, or she just knew that they were coming back. Gerald and Creamy are her friends.

This is Creamy inside and Jayden is trying to let him out.

Gerald is in here. The Monsters are curious.

Jayden is also trying to let Gerald out.

I’ve decided to put Creamy in the other room upstairs. But he will not be mixing with Riley, of course.

Creamy seemed quite comfortable in the room. He settled down very quickly.

He is eating well too.

That is a big, clear and very visible V-notch.

Gerald has been eating well even at the clinic. He is eating again. He has a big V-notch too.
Phew…both done and safely home now.
It is raining heavily now. Just as well they are indoors. The ground outside will be so wet and who knows where they might lie on.
