Since yesterday, Riley suddenly became very sociable.
And I realised now that since Riley had grown up as a street kitten, she is totally nocturnal. Last night, she came downstairs to play at midnight and was playing until 3am.
She went into Jayden’s cot and selected two soft toys to play with – Tweety Bird and Pua (Moana’s piglet). She even tried to get Tabs to play with her, but Tabs was asleep and ended up hissing at her.
At dawn, she was still very active, urging us to play with her.
Samantha and Gerald were at the porch and that got Riley really excited. Maybe she wanted to go out and play with them.
But after breakfast, she went back upstairs and is behind the TV again.
So, Riley still has her street kitten nocturnal nature. No wonder she’s always hiding in the day time. She’s active at night!
Now I know! The mystery is solved!
