Two new cages

It’s long overdue, replacing Ginger’s sick bay and Bunny’s cage. Long, long overdue.

So we got two new cages from Golden Triology. Both stainless steel, made to last.

This one is 4ft high. I made sure it’s about the same height as the old one so that I can put Indy’s pillow on top to make his penthouse. But Indy prefers to stay inside the cage now. Maybe because this new cage is super solid and sturdy compared to the old iron one.

I had to show Bunny how to get in and out because the entrance and the height of the ground floor is different from the old one. But it did not take long for Bunny to get the hang of it. For new readers, Bunny is blind.

This is Ginger’s new sick bay. We called the old cage his “sick bay” because Ginger first came to our house compound by sitting himself in the old cage because he had been attacked by Mr Quack, the neighbourhood terrorist cat. So Ginger came to ask for help by sitting inside the cage. Very clever of him. Now, we should just call his Ginger’s cage. No more sick bay! Also, I was really hoping that Smurfy will get this cage. The Monsters have monopolised the big condo and Smurfy is too frightened to use it.

This single cage also has an aluminium roof (by special request) so that the top is firm and I can use it as a table.

That’s Smurfy eating on top of the new cage.

Ginger and Smurfy! The top is firm and sturdy so they like going up.
