I have been contacting both our vets all morning. Unfortunately, it is their day off so there was some delay in communication.
Bunny is not in a coma (sorry I got that wrong). When I pressed his paws (as instructed by one of our vets), Bunny was still able to pull back his arm. This means he isn’t comatose. He is just very weak and is in a subconscious state. His eyes are also closed so his muscles are working. And Bunny is still urinating and defecating. His urine is, in fact, still yellow, so his kidneys are working well. In fact, very well.
Both vets said I should still give Bunny subcut so that it can flush out any toxins and maintain his blood pressure. So I did that just now.
Every four hours, I should rotate his sleeping position to prevent pressure sores and lung collapse. Before this, I have already been rotating him after every feeding session. So I should still continue doing this.
The Midazolam is on standby in case there is any seizure.
When there is still life, life is to be respected and maintained. Maintained; not necessary to prolong, but to maintain.

Rest, Bunny.
