Phew…all three kittens are latching now!
The vet asked me to help the little one latch on, but Samantha did not allow it. Finally, all three have latched on.
And now, we have decided on the following names: Kai for the first ginger; Akila for the fierce and aggressive calico and Tora for the tiny ginger (it means tiger in Japanese).
Akila is really aggressive. She saw her climbing onto Samantha and latching on first. Girl power!!!
This is Samantha’s polite way of telling me not to interfere and that she knows what to do. Yes, madam.

This is Socks. She now comes to eat too, after Samantha “vacated” her spot on our porch.
