And here’s Misty, the Tortie with lotsa tortitude!

I’ve heard of the possessive and strong-willed temperament of the Tortoiseshell cat but have never had the opportunity to actually encounter one…

…until now.

Here’s Misty, the tortie with tortitude!

On the first day, she came and ate at the gate. On the second day, she was already inside the porch and wrestling away Gerald’s food.

Gerald is afraid of her.

Creamy’s complains about her to me.

Today, she mewed loudly at dawn in our porch, asking for food. So not only do we have Gerald’s wake-up call, we also have Misty’s now.

I just hope the neighbours will not complain.

Creamy is very unhappy with her presence. She bullies Gerald and Creamy. She’s basically a gangster.

I think Misty is pregnant, but I cannot be sure. I think she is not the pregnant tortie that Samantha fought with previously. That was a bigger tortie.

Does she have a home? I hope so. But she is very hungry, so fine, she can have food, but please go home after eating.

Many cats have tried to take over the vacuum left by Samantha ever since I moved Samantha in for her maternity period. I wonder if Samantha will get back her spot after she’s spayed and returned to the porch. That would not be until at least another 3-4 weeks.
