Tabs was sneeze-free for a full 24 hours after initially taking the medicines. Then, it came back.
I told her vet yesterday and she said Tabs is a very allergic cat (from the ear-prick blood test conducted that day). So, this may not be a case of cat flu but a case of allergy.
Allergy!
That dreaded word!
While an allergy may be a mild one, but it’s annoying because it is so hard to pinpoint what one is allergic to.
But it’s true that Tabs is very allergic. Every year, she would experience a few months of balding. It isn’t the normal fur shedding, it’s actually balding. This year, is hasn’t happened yet. I’m hoping it won’t.
So maybe this year, it is in the form of sneezing?
Come to think of it, her balding usually happens around March-June. So the timing is about right.
Well, if her sneezing is due to an allergy, then at least I don’t have to worry about her passing on the bug to everyone else.
The vet suggested that I give her Prednisolone to control the allergy. I started her with half a tablet this morning.

Our cats have two vets from the same clinic. The reason is that the vets have days off, so when one isn’t available, we see the other one.
