A kind reader suggested that I try Cat’s Best litter instead of the tofu litter that I’m using because the tofu litter may poke the Blondies paws.
I already use the 2.0mm tofu litter, but yes, it still pokes.
So, I went to the store and found that there are now two types of Cat’s Best – the normal one and a new “sensitive” one which is almost like dust. It’s very fine. I contemplated and decided to buy the “sensitive”.
It is like the texture of sawdust. Not exactly, though.
Gerald always comes to mengacau every evening. So I let him in and what did he do? He went to every litter box and pee-ed. And it isn’t a lot of pee, just a wee bit to mark. Sigh! I had to clean up all his pee and wipe the box clean.
Hubby says maybe he is teaching his daughters how to use the litter box. Well yes, maybe?
Only Kai was interested in the new litter.

Indra played with Riley on the cat tree that I had moved into the room.
Kai must have been tired after the vaccintion.

In my discussion with the vet, she thinks Samantha can be released. I know Samantha probably wants to go back out and be free. But if I do that, I will be feeding four cats in my porch. Cmpl isn’t going to like this…at all. But the bigger problem is, will Misty fight with Samantha? The porch is big enough but probably not big enough for Sam and Misty. One is a calico and the other a tortie. Fireworks!! And can Gerald mitigate the impending tussle for space and territorial rights? I doubt it. Gerald is great friends with Misty but he also comes round to look up Samantha every evening.
I’m not sure what I should do.
Looks like only Indra is active tonight since she wasn’t vaccinated.
I bought this for the girls, but when I opened the plastic covering, Hiro came bounding towards it so happily, so it’s Hiro’s now.
