There is some progress in their litter box training. I see more urine balls and poop in the litter boxes now. But one kitten is still doing it outside the box and I suspect it is (still) Indra.
But the moment I let them out of the room to roam the entire house, will they go back to the litter boxes in their room to do their business?
Blocking off their pee-poo spots works.
Putting food bowls with food in their pee-poo spots also works.
The question now is: How long do I have to keep doing this until they form the habit of doing it in the litter boxes?
Also, when can I reduce the number of litter boxes in the room?
Right now, it’s ridiculous. There are seven litter boxes for one Samantha and three kittens. It is either I use litter boxes or heavy objects to block off all their pee-poo spots.
Maybe I should start reducing the number of litter boxes by replacing them with heavy objects, and slowly pull the litter boxes into the bathroom.
As it stands now, the single litter box in the bathroom isn’t exactly a popular one. They prefer the ones inside the room.
