Now, this is a bit of the story here…
The Blondies are WAY to busy playing to even want to eat. So that’s a problem ever since they were moved to Bunny’s Place. There’s just so much to explore and to play with.

Yesterday wasn’t as bad. They ate after I initiated force feeding, then finger and hand feeding. But today? Nobody wanted eat. Everybody was just too busy zooming around playing.

I resorted to caging them with food today, but it failed. They were so stressed at being caged, they desperately asked Samantha for help, toppled over the litter box, caused a huge mess and did not eat at all. So I saw the futility in it and I let them go.
I managed to force feed Indra and Kai a wee bit earlier and got my pilling finger bitten. Sigh.

Akira finally ate, after the door was open.
They used to eat THREE helpings or more when they were upstairs. Now, they are too busy playing to even want to eat.

Finally everyone ate. Not as much as before, but at least everyone ate.
I need to find a safe space for them to eat. I even tried confining them in the room with the food, but no, they were too busy zooming around in the tunnels.
But Samantha did not eat. Gerald comes over to create havoc and unrest by attracting her attention and she goes crazy. In that state of mind, of course she wouldn’t eat.

How crazy is this, right?

When Gerald comes, Samantha wants to join him.

It takes hours after that for Samantha to settle down and be calm again. Sigh…
Should I release Samantha? She isn’t exactly happy being confined. But she still has a tiny bit of attachment to her kittens.
She still hasn’t eaten.
Gerald creates havoc every morning. He did that as well at the window when they were upstairs but the space was smaller and Samantha didn’t go as crazy as she does now.
I cannot bring Gerald in as he would mew nonstop and that would upset the neighbours and our Super Seniors.
