Imm’s Shelter project put on hold (failure to catch the two TVT dogs)

Judy has been updating us on this project involving the two suspected TVT dogs, named Fluff and Dora. Imm’s Shelter requested our aid for their treatment and we had already agreed to a maximum of RM1,500 per dog.

However, after days of trying to catch the two dogs, including efforts by a darter, both dogs have evaded capture. JoTong had also been giving them suggestions on what to do, but she agreed that the place is far too open, so the dogs have many escape routes.

So, as of today, Judy and Imm have decided to give it a break as both dogs are already very wary of humans.

A message from Judy, received this morning:

Good morning Kah Yein. Just want to let you know that Imm and I agreed this morning that we should abandon operation capture for time being. The dogs are now so scared and anxious and are wary of eating the food Imm puts out for them. Imm wants them to be happy and relaxed again.

I have noticed the same too. I can see Tara wants to greet me the way she used too but can see her uncertainty.

We will let things settle back to normal and do what’s right for them when the time is right.

As our plan to catch Fluff and Dora to hv them treated for their TVT is suspended indefinitely, it is best that the funds you have set aside for their treatment be used for AnimalCare other needy furry friends.

We are nevertheless very appreciative that AnimalCare had approved our request enquiry to sponsor Fluff n Dora’s TVT treatment.
