Yesterday was indeed a worrying day.
Gerald did not turn up in the morning at 6am. He only came at 7.30am for breakfast. And again, he did not turn up for dinner until very late.
The problem is, Misty refuses to eat by herself. I think she was worried about Gerald.
My husband says maybe Gerald’s “owner” (assuming he has one) confined him and so he couldn’t get out to come to our porch to eat.
Does Gerald have an owner?
Hubby seems to think that Gerald lives in the house directly behind ours. Well, it is possible since that house has cats and Creamy also comes from there.
But this morning, Gerald was back as usual, on time.
Ah, how I welcome that nonstop mewing from him! Yes, it can get a bit noisy and I worry the neighbours would complain too, especially when it is too early.
But he’s back!
If I quickly feed them, the mewing stops.
Gerald is a ginger cat, so they love to talk!

Nowadays, Gerald seldom spends the night at our porch. He goes somewhere, but I don’t know where. And Misty doesn’t go with him. Misty sleeps on her throne on our bench (that’s a basket with a furry mat in it). But yet, Misty will not eat unless Gerald is present.
