Starting nebulisation for Kai

I nebulised Kai last night and again this morning. The sneezing has not reduced so I decided to take the next step.

She was really good with the nebulisation process and did not struggle at all.

I did it again this morning and she was most cooperative too. She’s also easier to feed medicines to compared with Indra.

I’ve stopped Indra’s nebulisation since she has got much better and is already on Clavamox.

Also, this morning, if I’m not mistaken, I think I heard Creamy sneeze on the ledge as he was coming from his “home” to our porch. I cannot be 100% sure, though, but since he did come to eat, I gave him Cetirizine+Bromhexine and Vetri DMG.

I also fortified Gerald and Misty with Vetri DMG.

So, Creamy has zero contact with Indra, this means the cat-flu bug is in the air. Luckily, all our cats have been vaccinated, including Gerald, Misty and Creamy. So, the symptoms should not be so severe.

The normal 4-in-1 cat vaccine covers Feline Panleukopenia (parvovirus in cats), Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis (FVR) (flu sympotoms), Feline Calicivirus (flu symptoms) and Chlamydia Psittaci (flu symptoms).

The problem with cat flu is that sometimes it starts as being viral and later, there is secondary bacterial infection. Hence, the need for antibiotics if it doesn’t get better or the mucus gets cloudy.
