If your animals are indoors, turn up your TV to try and drown out the noise. But with this new type of bomb-sounding fireworks, it is just too deafening to be drowned out by any other noise.
If your animals are outdoors, bring them in, if you can.
Unfortunately, this government legalised fireworks last year. So there is no point in even making a police report (believe me, I have made four police reports this CNY itself). The police won’t even send a patrol car (which they did before the ban was lifted) nowadays.
We have to take care of our vulnerable ones, particularly our pets, community animals, babies and the elderly. The authorities don’t care.
Tak kena, maka tak takut, ya? Bila dah kena, it would be too late. Personally, I don’t wish this upon anyone. But if it does, shouldn’t you have used your pre-frontal cortex to figure out that this might happen? Why indulge in something so, so dangerous and so, so utterly stupid?
