Husband called excitedly this morning because Doggy had come into our porch to eat!!
He had placed the food bowls inside the porch and opened one side of the autogate. Doggy strolled in and started to eat. So, husband closed the autogate and Doggy continued eating!!
Success (or so we thought)!!
So husband asked me to quickly call the kindly neighbour who has agreed to adopt Doggy. I did and he was all prepared to come over when…
…Doggy escaped through the bars of our gate and went back out to the road!
It did cross my mind that she could be thin enough to squeeze through the bars of our gate and she is. So now, the next step is to wire-net those bars in our gate.
Doggy did come back while the gate was closed, so we quickly opened the gate and waited, but she did not return.
Freedom after breakfast!
Slowly and steadily…we will get there, hopefully.
