Juno is awake from her long nap!

She’s bouncing all over the place!

Hi Juno! Waking up from her 1.5 hour nap now.

Playing with her favourite toy.

We fashioned an e-collar out of a thin plastic plate but that didn’t work at all because Juno pushed it out immediately. So to prevent her from biting the sore at her anus, we distract her by making her play. Will monitor her to see if we need to make another trip to the vet’s to get the small e-collar for her. Most importantly, after applying the Triderm cream, we need to distract her from licking off the cream for about 15 minutes or so.

Eating the RC Mothercat and Baby kibble. The vet did suggest that maybe we have to control her play time; she’s using up a lot of energy playing and not eating enough, hence, running on a “deficit”!

I’m also exploring a locally-made brand of cooked pet food called PetChef now. Since the parasites are found in raw food, I figured we can opt for cooked food; at least it won’t be as dry as kibble.
