Since we were at the clinic already, I managed to purchase the small e-collar for Juno and consult the vet about the treatment for the butt sore. The vet said I could clean it with Chlorhexidine and apply Fustadin instead of Triderm cream.
So that’s what we did after we came home.
Sorry, Juno, you’ll have to wear the e-collar for a bit after application of the butt cream. It’s not for long hours.
And her poop quality is improving – it’s not as wet and it is no longer blood-tinged.
